The following guidelines apply to participation in the funding program:

1. target group and basic requirements

  • The funding program is aimed at pupils and students of the International Music Academy, primarily children and young people; in justified exceptional cases, adults may also be considered.

  • Applicants must be actively enrolled at the Academy in the 2025/2026 school year.

  • You can apply for funding for individual instrumental lessons as part of our weekly semester program, or for funding for participation in one of our group courses.

2. scope of funding

  • Funding is awarded for one semester at a time.

  • Depending on the individual situation and available funding, the program covers 50 percent or 100 percent of the tuition fee.

  • Free places are allocated on an ongoing basis and according to the order of complete registration. If capacity is exhausted, places will be placed on a waiting list.

3. performance and participation criteria

  • Regular attendance at lessons is compulsory.

  • Participation in selected Academy events, projects and concerts.

  • Continuous exchange with the teacher about learning progress and commitment.

4. verification and documentation

  • At the end of the semester, a performance record must be submitted, for example a concert contribution, a video recording or an equivalent presentation.

  • Proof of the financial or social situation of the family, legal guardians or applicants is required for admission to the funding program.

5. selection procedure

  • Sponsorships are awarded by a committee consisting of the management of the International Music Academy, the respective teacher and an external specialist.
