Cello, Elementary Music Making

Margarethe Vogler completed her Master's degree in cello performance with distinction at the MUK (Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna) in summer 2023. She then began her studies in instrumental pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts (mdw), which she expects to complete next year with a focus on elementary music education.
In addition to the cello, she has been accompanying the piano since her youth and has developed a long-standing passion for music education. She has already gained diverse experience in various teaching settings, particularly with inclusive groups. Margarethe is also passionate about bodywork, which she integrates into her teaching. She also works with mental training techniques, specifically autogenic training, to support her students both before concerts and in other stressful situations.
Her goal as an educator is to awaken the joy of making music, foster individual musical imagination, and combine this with solid technical development. Margarethe places particular emphasis on a playful approach and fostering a positive relationship with her students to strengthen their motivation and enjoyment of making music together.
Since February 2025, Margarethe has been part of the International Music Academy team, where she shares her experience and passion for teaching and music with a wide range of students. In addition to teaching the cello class, Margarethe also offers courses for the youngest students as part of our Elementary Music Education program.
