Irina Marinas is a versatile artist at home in both the world of opera and jazz. Her musical journey began at the tender age of five with piano studies. She delved into the realms of classical singing and opera during her formal education, honing her academic skills at prestigious institutions such as McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
Following the completion of her training, Irina Marinas swiftly joined the opera ensemble at the Koblenz Theater in Germany as a principal soloist. There, she garnered abundant praise for her outstanding performances in significant lead roles such as Konstanze, Adina, Tatiana, Susanna, Rosalinde, Anne Trulove, and many others.
In 2018, Irina Marinas relocated to Vienna, continuing her career as a soloist. She graced various high-profile events, including the “wir.sind.wien Festival” and the “Kultursommer Wien.”
In addition to her singing career, Irina teaches voice, directs choirs, and pursues studies in psychology. Leveraging her extensive education and expertise, she offers modern and diverse vocal instruction. We are excited to welcome Irina to the INTMA team in the fall of 2023, where she will launch her new choir project, “HarmonieVocalis,” and serve as a vocal instructor.
