Júlia Kósa

Born in Szekler, Transylvania, her first musical influences came from her father, an excellent tenor. Her parents recognized her talent early on, and at the age of seven she began learning the recorder and piano, in addition to sports.

She then studied the flute at music high school. Julia continued her music studies at the "Gheorghe Dima" Conservatory in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She successfully completed her studies there in 2008 with a degree in flute, music education and choir conducting. After completing her studies, she immediately began teaching music at high school. She also regularly supervised private students in the subjects of flute, piano, music theory and singing.

Julia's decision to become a teacher was prompted and reinforced by the example of the excellent professors in her musical career. She also recognized from her own experience how important and beneficial high-quality musical education is from an early age. Her many years of teaching experience later enabled her to use music to encourage and refine a person's form of expression in order to increase assertiveness and self-esteem. In this way, her musical diversity lays another building block on the path to the student's personal development.

A few years ago, Julia decided to support her sister Maria at the “International Music Academy” in Vienna. Since then, she has been teaching there and delighting audiences with ongoing concerts as a member of the flute ensemble “The Brunette Quartet”.

The wish to pass on this knowledge has come true.

Her motto: Music brings you closer to yourself.
